I am going to Chicago for 2 days! I am taking the train from the Milwaukee airport with 5 girlfriends (mature women friends, actually, LOL). None of them are into AG but I am going to drag them in AGPC. I just can't wait!

I used Priceline and booked the Palmer House Hilton for $85 per night. This seems like a pretty good deal. Has anyone stayed there. One of my friends said that this is the traditional weekend for the Chicago Christmas Parade and cabs, restaurants, etc. will be hard to get. Has anyone heard this?

Can anyone recommend a restaurant (middle of the road - not fine dining, but nice)? Is anyone else going to Chicago on these days. PS for anyone who is interested, the train from the Milwaukee airport is $20 one way and it takes 1 hour and 18 minutes to get to Union Station. Union Station is 7 blocks from the Palmer House Hilton where we are staying. This hotel is in the theater district and right by Millenium Park which I have never seen. Has anyone here seen Millenium Park?
